Learning UX can be quite an ambiguous task; this is down to the open-ended nature of the subject. UX isn’t a defined process; it is an ideology of creating incredibly usable and beautiful experiences for the end user.
I would recommend learning the foundations of UX from the man who coined the term ‘UX’. The book ‘The design of everyday things’ is written by Don Norman, this will help you with an understanding of how to make things usable.
Reading the above book is what gave me a solid understanding of UX and made me realise the amount of thought that goes into some of our everyday products.
