Sage was an agile project using sprints for various parts of the site; it allowed us to tackle the site modularly and ignore the bigger picture, which was led by our Project Managers and the Producer.

As stated previously I dealt with the majority of front-end development on this project. There are a few bits on the site such as the base column structure and some modules the other team members dealt with. However, the homepage, category pages, navigation menus, single post, author pages and more were my doing.

Beyond the development, I was also incorporated into the Conversion Rate Optimisation body of work and asked to lead upon this. It is where I learnt the definition of CRO, when to use it, and how to act upon it.

It is probably one of my favourite projects to date and allowed me to see the changes occur on a website, achieving the client’s goals and also making a far better experience for their users as well.
